Craft Chat with HFR Contest Winners

November 21, we’ll be hosting a live Craft Chat with HFR Contest winners Jody Chan and David Joez Villaverde!

What: An intimate conversation about writing, publishing, and the writing life
Who: The winners of HFR’s 2024 Contest in poetry and fiction, Jody Chan and David Joez Villaverde, moderated by HFR Associate Editor Chiara Naomi.

Cozy Fanfic Generative Workshop

Join HFR for a free virtual generative workshop with the theme of “Cozy Fanfic: World Building Inspiration from Media.”

This generative workshop will guide you in building a fictional world inspired by your favorite animated short, short story, movie, or other obsession. The theme is cozy and quiet: all interactions will take place through Nearpod, so no need to unmute your mic! Take out a notepad, a cup of coffee, and listen to the sounds of a crackling fire as we write together.
